When this car first came into existence it caused quite a stir, when its first pictures were released in 2006. It is very unusual looking for an Audi. They had the task of taking all the usual Audi traits and incorporating them into this new look car that is like no Audi I’ve ever seen before. It turns your head even when it isn’t moving, so imagine what it looks like on the road. The usual Audi grill is complemented surprisingly by two extra air intakes. It sits low, is broad and slicker than most cars I have ever seen in my life and is amazing to look at in jet blue, although other colours will obviously be available. On first glance you might think it’s a smart car, however the design has a function, capturing air as you drive and directing it into the engine bay. It’s genuinely pleasing to the eyes. And that’s before you even get to look inside. The interior is everything you would expect of Audi, and then a little bit more; snug but comfortable. Nearly every little thing you might want to be able to do while driving is possible from just a flick of a strategically placed button, whether you want to turn the heating on, un-fog the windows, move the side mirrors or open the windows, you don’t have to reach far to do so.

The drive is immense. With six speed manual transmission, the gear box slides effortlessly from gear to gear as you want it without much break of your rhythm. The ride is smooth with a surprisingly limited amount of noise pollution, but this does depend on the engine type of your used R8. Some will be nosier than others but the one I experienced I was impressed with. Its top speed is a less impressive 187 mph, it’s a shame but there are limited times and places you can actually test this out anyway. Despite having many rivals in the car world, the R8 Quattro is more than up for the challenge.

If I was to criticise it in any way it would be to point out how impractical it is. It’s not the type of car you would take to drop the kids off at school or even drive to work in. I don’t think I’d trust the general public to leave it alone while I was in the office as it may as well be shouting out to the world it’s there it’s that cool. If you have no reservations about this and you possess a lot of money it’d be an interesting investment. It’s a stereotype but I don’t think I could imagine a woman driving this car. Even used you still couldn’t buy it for much less than 25,000 and that’s at a push. But I envy the people who can, and the price is going to drop dramatically in the coming years, so it’s definitely a car to look out for the very near future.

A unique place to visit while in Costa Rica is the tranquil little village of Mal Pias. Situated on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica around the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, this place boast of vibrant colors and sceneries. The name Mal Pais originated from the Chorotoga Indians who inhabited the area. Legends in the area would tell us that the word Mal Pais was coined from the word “mah pah” which is a very huge stone used by the Indians to draw. Dubbed as the Hawaii of Latin America, the coastline is filled with rocky and some unique volcanic rock formations which creates a fascinating and intriguing scenery. What’s more, if you wander along the beach of Mal Pais, you could be treated with the sight of pelicans sailing along the shorelines or diving for fish! Such a beautiful and peaceful sight indeed! Students of ecology and biology would come trekking from the nearby Cabo Blanco National Park which is located some 3 kilometers south of the village. The Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve serves as a nursery for many aquatic species, most of them endangered or threatened by human activities.
Mal Pais offers a tourist haven along its three kilometer road which is dotted with charming hotels. Most of these hotels offers fantastic views and very good accommodations guaranteed to make you feel at home while enjoying the golden sunset of the Pacific.

The oldest of Costa Rica’s National Parks, the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve is located at the extreme southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. It is one of the most beautiful such nature reserves in the country, with a genuinely of a kind combination of climate and geographical location. It was also such protected area established in Costa Rica, all the way back in 1963, a first step that has now become an extensive national park system and has led to the nation becoming one of the world’s foremost authorities in the ecotourism industry.

The attractions held in the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve are numerous and varied. It encompasses over a thousand hectares of mixed forest, known as moist tropical forest, as well as primary and secondary forest, and is home to a stunning menagerie of wild life that includes anteaters, armadillos, coyotes, howlers, monkeys (both spider and capachun) and white tailed deer.
The gateway to the reserve is Cabuya, a small community that exists on the border of the main entrance to the Reserve and offers excellent accommodation and hospitality as well as numerous activities of its own such as sports fishing, bird watching (Cabo Blanco is the nesting place for more than a hundred and fifty different types of birds), beachcombing, hiking, scuba diving or trips to various places such as Tortuga Island and an undersea volcano.

All in all, Cabo Blanco is an ideal place to sample the unspoiled simplicity of an old fashioned Costa Rican village.

Allow this mixture to sit for one hour, and then flush with warm water to fizzle dirt down the drain. This mixture can be used in your bathtub and kitchen drains as well. Use solvent and an old stiff-bristled nylon toothbrush to clean around the taps, and polish them to a gleaming finish with white vinegar and a paper towel.

No More Mildew

Your bathroom won’t be truly clean until every trace of mildew has been eliminated. The secret ingredient to mildew removal is in your medicine cabinet. Mix peroxide with water and apply it to the walls and ceiling. This will eliminate the dirt and germs that cause mildew.

Tenancy Agreements

Equal shares amongst siblings is a common approach and may often be devised simply (or by default). Two siblings would each inherit and take equal shares in the property. Each party is responsible for their portion of taxes, upkeep, and other expenses. Also, any party can dispose of or sell their portion as they see fit without regard to the other party.

Without an agreement amongst the parties on how to address costs or transfers, this option presents difficulties legally if the parties cannot cooperate. If sibling A wants to sell, or not pay for the new roof, tension builds and feuds ensue. An agreement is essential well in advance. Everything from limiting transfers to paying for improvements/repairs must be discussed.

Cabin Trusts

Placing the property into a trust and designating beneficiaries who share interests in the property is another option. A trustee provides oversight, usually one of the beneficiaries, and manages the property.

Trusts also provide an opportunity, at the beginning, to set ground rules and also funding for the trust (in addition to the property itself) to take care of costs of maintaining the property.

LLCs

Transferring a lake home or cabin property to a limited liability company is another lesser known option and provides some flexibility down the road. Each owner’s participation and rules for voting can be set up in the LLCs’ operating documents. In this option, the owner and next generation owns a share of the LLC, which in turn owns the property itself.

The LLC is run like any business with the same structure. It requires operating agreements, voting, etc. With voting comes flexibility to change as new issues or conditions arise.

As with any plan, it is vitally important to plan and talk through your particular situation with your family and with an attorney well-versed in these areas. Any estate planning should be tailored to fit your own family’s circumstances.
